TechOne CES Functional Specialist
Location: South-Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne / Hybrid
Work Type: Contract, Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced TechOne CES Functional Specialist to take ownership of the configuration, integration, and day-to-day optimisation of the TechnologyOne CiA platform across Finance, Asset Management, and Procurement streams.
Working within a collaborative application support team, you will act as the primary functional expert, bridging the gap between operational stakeholders and technical delivery.
What the job involves
- Working with business module owners to translate practical processes and user needs into clear functional specifications.
- Configuring and maintaining the TechnologyOne CiA Corporate Enterprise Suite (CES), user security profiles, and automated workflows.
- Building and supporting business reporting and data extracts using tools such as BPA, ETL processes, Crystal Reports, and XLOne.
- Leading UAT planning, defect triage, cutover preparation, and post-go-live operational support.
- Developing user manuals, knowledge-base documentation, and handover training for operational staff.
- Collaborating with technical teams and software vendors to ensure integrations and upgrades meet agreed standards and performance benchmarks.
What you need to bring
- Solid background configuring, supporting, and maintaining TechnologyOne CES modules in an enterprise environment.
- Practical experience across the broader Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), SharePoint, M365, and PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with ERP data integration concepts, ETL processes, REST APIs, and Azure integration components (Logic Apps, Service Bus).
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of engaging non-technical business stakeholders and turning requirements into workable solutions.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent commercial experience.
Requirements
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights, a current driver licence, and be willing to complete a National Police Check and relevant background screenings.
