About the Role
As Geospatial Specialist, you will act as the technical subject matter expert for the enterprise GIS environment, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to enhance geospatial capability across the organisation.
Reporting to the Geospatial Lead, you'll drive GIS application development, system integrations, spatial data quality and platform optimisation while providing technical leadership and mentoring within the team.

Duties – A Day in the Life
- Develop and enhance enterprise GIS applications and services
- Manage and optimise IntraMaps and associated web mapping solutions
- Support spatial database administration, maintenance and optimisation
- Develop FME workflows, automation processes and integration solutions
- Deliver GIS integrations across corporate applications and business systems
- Conduct spatial analysis, reporting and visualisation activities
- Manage spatial data quality, governance and integrity initiatives
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Data teams on strategic initiatives
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and specialist advice to stakeholders
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across GIS platforms
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience supporting and developing enterprise GIS environments
- Strong capability with ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, IntraMaps, FME and SQL Server Spatial
- Experience developing GIS applications, integrations and automation workflows
- Strong understanding of spatial databases, web services and data management
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Tertiary qualifications in GIS, Geospatial Science, Computer Science or a related discipline
